Sorry - I wasn't making myself clear - I wanted to say: I like using apache - the web server And I like administering my linux machine using a web interface like webmin. On a similar note, I also like Netsaint - the network status monitor that runs on a web server. Kev just wasn't being clear yesterday!!!! :o) Kev -----Original Message----- From: Warrl [mailto:warrl@blarg.net] Sent: 30 March 2000 08:34 To: Kevin Jackson; Suse Linux Subject: RE: [SLE] WINDOWS NT and LINUX On Tue, 28 Mar 2000, Kevin Jackson wrote:
And finally, my favourite bit of Kit is Apache - the web server. You can get plenty of admin tools for Linux that runs using apache. I strongly recommend webmin at www.webmin.com/webmin/
I agree about both apache and webmin, but there is no connection between the two. Webmin is its own special-purpose, special-port web server, and is quite nice on a machine that lacks keyboard, monitor, and apache. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
