I wanted to thank Randall, Cristian, Christopher, Jack, and James for your valuable feedback about the BitTorrent 5 CD SuSE 9.3 version I've recently downloaded. Any idea about when the FTP version of 9.3 pro will be available? Has SuSE/Novell released a date for this? I have emailed SuSE/Novell and they do offer an upgrade from the 8.2 Pro version -- I think they said $59 for another boxed set with 60 days support instead of the regular 90 days support. I had previously purchased and used SuSE 8.2 Pro boxed set until the laptop died. I have tried many "live" distros on a Dell Inspiron 5150 (sames specs as listed in the "Notebook with XP and SuSE" thread currently being posted), and have been very satisfied with the prospects of successfully loading SuSE. (Never have gotten the Dell/Broadcom 1350 wireless 802.11g card to be usable with the Live distros I've tried.) Again, thanks for your input and suggestions - much appreciated. -*-Bill
