Hallo, opensuse RC1. The Problem: Switching kde-desktop/ shell using ALT+F1 etc. doesn t work any longer. Nothings happens so I need a hint. Thanks
Do you mean CTRL+ALT+F1?? When switching from the GUI, you need to use CTRL+ALT+F1. When switching from a console (tty), to another, you only need ALT+Fx

To witch FROM KDE to the text console, you need to type CTRL + ALT + F1 (as always in the past), switching back to the other consoles or back to KDE works with ALT + F[1-7] (as always). On Wed, 21 Sep 2005, Ralf Prengel wrote:
