Hi, Hi everyone, When using the SuSEfirewall version-4.5 I have a question 1) Although the SuSEfirewall 3 phase starting process does work with no complaints I would like to make sure it initiates itself right after ADSL gets going. SuSEfirewall_init phase requires serial that is understable for dialup SuSEfirewall_setup requires the above phase network route SuSEfirewall_final many things like dhcpd sshd named inetd etc. The question is in which of these I should put "adsl" to make sure it gets on and if for some reason adsl connction breaks it will restart when adsl gets going again. This is that rp-pppoe gets connected itself again TIA -- Togan Muftuoglu

I would look into /etc/ppp/ip-up script. The lines dealing with SuSEfirewall are commented out but you can get the idea how it should be hooked up. HTH, -Kastus

Well I am thinking the insserv process and the setup phase since S07route then S08adsl S08SuSEfirewall_setup S11SuSEfirewall_final so adsl must get the ip so SuSEfirewall get put the filters

This I forgot to look thanks for the hint -- Togan Muftuoglu
