I tried to configure kde4 version of kaffeine to use dvb-s card. I tried to search for channels but no luck. I then copied over the kde3 config file of kaffeine and I was able to detect and all the tv channels (I'm scanning from hotbird 13e). Now I have the channels I find that most of the channels display video but give no sound. Maybe half a dozen I can get sound from but they are not the channels that I am interested in. Does anyone have any idea as to how I can correct this? kde3 works perfectly with picture and sound on all channels. However, since kde3 has been scrapped I thought that I'd try setting up the kde4 version. I have a Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S card and am running KDE 4.3.5 on opensuse 11.2 Any help would be appreciated.
