[opensuse] Problem with List
Yesterday I installed 11.0. The installation went very well. However, since then I haven't been receiving any messages from this list. I was subscribed with my comcast email address and it had worked fine until yesterday. I've subscribed from my gmail account so receive from the list, but I don't usually use this account and would prefer to have the list go to the comcast account. Also, I can't seem to send via the gmail account do to the html rule, so I'm trying to send from the comcast account.I would greatly appreciate any hints to solve this problem! Why not send a msg subscribing to this list and if you are already subscribed then 'it' will reply to you stating so. If not then simply subscribe to the list under your comcast address. (See the bottom of your msg for the address to send your msg to re subscribing.) I am subscribed with the comcast account. That's how I sent the original message. I just don't get any messages to the comcast address from the list (other mail comes to it fine.) And I was receiving messages from the list yesterday afternoon until installed 11.0 (I previously had 10.3.) I don't see how that would have made a difference, but that's when the messages stopped coming through. Very strange! OK, sorry, misread your original post. You are using kmail. Have you configured it correctly in 11.0? Ciao. -- All true wisdom is found on T-shirts. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I think so. I have separate home partition and the setup is from the 10.3 installation. To check that though, I closed kmail and monitored the mail coming in on comcast's web interface. No messages came from the list there either. I suspect that comcast has blocked suse for some reason, but I don't have anyway of checking that. Maybe the list adiminstrator will sort it out if there was an error message from comcast.... Thanks for the suggestions! The address opensuse+owner@opensuse.org is the one where you can report problems, though in this case I would contact Comcast first. The opensuse.org domain can be automatically blocked due to number of emails. I had that with my provider. -- Regards, Rajko http://en.opensuse.org/Portal needs helpful hands. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

As a workaround you can use gmail with a pop account. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
