restricting users with postfix
Hi all, I need to restrict a single user to internal e-mail addresses. Postfix docs say I need to do this: /etc/postfix/main.cf: smtpd_recipient_restrictions = check_sender_access hash:/etc/postfix/restricted_senders ...other stuff... smtpd_restriction_classes = local_only local_only = check_recipient_access hash:/etc/postfix/local_domains, reject /etc/postfix/restricted_senders: foo@domain local_only bar@domain local_only /etc/postfix/local_domains: this.domain OK matches this.domain and subdomains that.domain OK matches that.domain and subdomains I've done this (and adjusted the settings for the local environment), but the user is still able to mail outside his domain. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks Hans

OK, I got that working - now there's one problem remaining. I used my own account to test this, i.e. restricted myself to internal addresses only. Works fine, I can send internal, not external. Then I removed my account /etc/postfix/restricted_senders, ran postmap on it, portfix reload, all should be refreshed now. I still can't send mail extrenally. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks Hans
