[opensuse] Weird kmail issue
Hello, it may not be openSUSE specific, but for the case that somebody already encountered and solved this problem: I have an imap account on a virtual platform (plesk). The account is my job account, so I cannot modify or change anything and I am sure, the provider wouldn't either. The folders are under INBOX, since the webmail access is horde-based, I think the IMAP-Server will be cyrus. Now, kmail (the recent version) does not see any emails in my inbox. Sent folder is not a problem, emails would be fetched and displayed. This is a persistent issue, even if I remove and readd the account the problem stays. Doing some research with google has led me to a kind of a workaround (toggling server side subscription). Is there any other solution known to somebody? Regards, -- Tibor I use OpenSource!

Here, I have the main inbox as the top level folder where I receive my mails. All other are below this folder, e.g. sent, trash,... And everything works fine.

So you have disabled serve side subscription now and still do not see mails in your top inbox folder?
Is there any other solution known to somebody?
Is your top inbox folder checked in the local subscriptions of your account, too? After disabling the server side subscription mails appeared in my inbox. So, this issue is solved for me. -- Tibor I use OpenSource!
