Hi All... I think I saw the app a few days ago, but I could be wrong.. is it possible to even set a default "browser" so that when in Evolution if I click a link, it opens Mozilla.. Or when I open a link in Kopete, it opens Mozilla and not the KDE Browser? I know there's something about different settings with KDE vs Gnome.. Any Pointers? Thanks! Charles

Don't know how you do it for KDE apps, but for GNOME apps, run gnome-default-applications-properties and set the browser you want there, and then for a belt-and-braces approach, run gnome-file-types-properties and edit Internet Services > Unknown service types -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org

Well, it's neither really :) I meant the browser settings for gnome apps anyway, you can have Konqueror as your default browser for gnome apps if you want :) Try setting it to /usr/bin/mozilla "%s" -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org
