Hi all. I'm running SuSE 6.2, and today was getting a message for any command I entered, e.g.: bash: /bin/ls: Too many open files in system I was running a quite a few processes (about 50, each with plenty of I/O) so I guess I hit some sort of limit - anyone any idea exactly what the limit was and, more importantly, how to raise it? Thanks, Sean -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
