[SLE] Modules and more modules
Hi there, I have a question aboput modules. If I already have my basic kernel the way I like it and I just want to add a module (or two) do I need to recompile the whole kernel again or can I just do $ make modules modules_install ? Either way, if someone could be so kind and explain to me the whole story behind the reason why things should be done the way they should be, etc? It's sufficient to do a `make modules modules_install'. Ciao, Stefan -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
Ah, I usually recompile the whole thing anyway so I'll basically just keep doing what I've ben doing all along! -- Yatsen Ng Den Haag, The netherlands yatsenng@casema.net It said "Needs Windows 95 or better".
