FWIW, Amazon has posted a SUSE 10.0 delivery estimate of October 17. I ordered it there before SUSE had their "special" posted. Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. We have no bugs in our software, Never! We do have undocumented added features, that you will find amusing, at no added cost to you, at this time.

Thanks.....got it and just wrote to Amazon. I bet if I didn't "squawk" about it, I'd not get the discount. ;) Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. We have no bugs in our software, Never! And both Patrick and I were able to get the discount by the mere expedient of asking for it! Amazon.com's like that, you know.

It's "jibe," actually. Why not $53.99? It's Amazon.com's price. You can rest assured it's above their cost to purchase and distribute it. By the way, for several days now, these numbers, roughly, have held true: Amazon.com Sales Rank: Today: #12 in Software, #179 in Electronics Yesterday: #14 in Software, #172 in Electronics This is one popular piece of software! But those of us hereabouts aren't surprised.

Yup, I didn't even ask for it and got the same price IF I'd bought a book along w/ it even if not related they would have tossed in free shipping as well. And I haven't bought into the exclusive club where you pay to not have to pay so much for shipping.. weirdness. I can't wait to see it on my latest and greatest box, which doesn't and never did have anything MS on the drive... But the thing has one of those pcie cards and it's a tad flakey . Tho apparently the Opensuse folks think 10.0 will fix it for me... I cannot wait to get this screamer up and running.. ( It even has spare pci slots to stuff things into .) wheeeee - - j registered linux user #363029 Mornings: Evolution in action. Only the grumpy will survive.
