When I was installing Suse this morning I was greeted with a question about doing remote authentication with these three options. Are there any of these which are both available on Linux and not open text passwords. I think NIS is open text and LDAP is available on Linux, but I don't know about a combination of the two... -- On a clear disk you can seek forever. -- P. Denning
