Good morning folks! I've been having an extremely bothersome problem with my machine, and i'm hoping for some guidance - This occured while running vmware. There was an error within that program, and then the system went nuts and crashed. It looks like you need to turn OFF "acpi" and turn ON "apci". "apci" is needed for VMware to run and "acpi" if giving many people problems. -- Ken Schneider unix user since 1989 linux user since 1994 SuSE user since 1998

It looks like you need to turn OFF "acpi" and turn ON "apci". "apci" is needed for VMware to run and "acpi" if giving many people problems.

It looks like you need to turn OFF "acpi" and turn ON "apci". "apci" is needed for VMware to run and "acpi" if giving many people problems.
