Hi, I'm now trying to install SLED10SP1 into the Eee PC as part of a school project. I've installed 10.3 on it before. With 10.3, I can get a 800 by 480 resolution which looks picture perfect on the 7 inch Eee PC. With 800 by 600, it looks squashed. But with SLED10 SP1, I'm unable to get a 800 pixel horizontal resolution i.e. no 800 by 480 or 800 by 600. I'm only able to get 640 by 480. I've looked at the xorg.conf files for both installations and found that in 10.3, the Device section's Driver line says: Driver "intel" whereas in SLED10 SP1, the line says: Driver "i810" I'm not too sure what this implies, but my guess is that the drivers used are different. My guess is that the driver in 10.3 is 'newer' or 'better'. How can I make the driver for SLED10 SP1 be like the one for 10.3? The graphic device is 915 GM.
