Hi!
I have bought me a dual Celeron Motherboard!!!
Dang it rocks! :) I am SO happy with it!
Now to my question.
Does anyone know of a utility to monitor the Cpu and case temps, fan rpm etc?
There are a number of different ones for Windows, but as far as i know NONE for
Linux. :(
Does ANYONE know of or have such a utility, or knows where to get the
whitepaper for the board so one could write it oneself...

You need to get the I2C kernel patch, lm78 kernel patch, some apps called `sensors' and something to watch them with. Go to freshmeat.net and look for `lm78' :] -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

Just an FYI...WindowMaker has some wonderful apps that will do this and much more..you can get links to these apps off WindowMakers homepage. There is even a new dock app for monitoring SMP boxen...it's very nice. laters, -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org -------------------- "Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom" --Gen.
