Can anyone say if Gnucash is on Suse 7.3? I am thinking of the release that had a lot of dependency issues. Is it working ok ? Brian Marr

It is on SuSE 7.3. I just opened a terminal and type 'gnucash' and up it came. I went through the setup and selected a general user account template and was presented with the main screen. Then I closed the app and was presented with a crash dialog explaining it had a segmentation fault. So, it's there. Actually, it looked very nice. If I read up on it and follow setup directions it might not crash. :) I played with it on 7.2 and had no problems. I just liked MoneyDance better. Jerry

When I closed the crash dialog on gnucash another app popped up called Big-Buddy, a crash tracking software. It connected to the gnome website and presented my with a list of apps from which to choose in order to report the bug. BUT, gnucash was not on the list!!! So, I chose Big-Buddy, :) and sent it off. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't an account w/ 4 degrees. For home use it's perfect. :) -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal" -AE
