I click in mozilla, the system says something like the protocol is not registered... and that's something that I will like to fix, but I haven't been able to find a solution.
If you do it, please tell me!
I checked bugzilla (bug reporting for mozilla) and it is a known problem affecting Linux only. It works on Unix, the MAC and Win whatever. Here is a URL for the bug. My guess is it will be fixed by the time 1.5 ships but I don't know. You can register in Bugzilla and add yourself to be informed when it is fixed or changes status. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=202715 -- I am unique and special, just like everyone else.
I have made some changes to the most recent version of the MozEx extension for Mozilla / Firebird. I have changed it so that it will intercept clicks on RTSP links. Once you install it, you simply have to configure it through its setting dialog. Just check the "Intercept rtsp clicks" checkbox. Then, at the bottom of the settings dialog, enter the full path to the program you want to run, along with the url parameter. For example, I have the path set as: "/usr/bin/realplay %r" (minus the quotations of course). You can get my version of the extension at the link below. Just right-click, save it and then open it from within your browser. The install will start automatically.
