I've just had a warning from the SuSE ezmlm that my account has been bouncing emails, and this seems to be a problem with using the osirusoft blacklist. However, as far as I know, I'm not using any blacklist at all. How do I find out whether (presumably spamassassin) is using this blacklist? Oddly, only some email msgs have been bouncing, which suggests that perhaps the problem isn't with me? Thanks for that - I've included it in the relevant file. However, AFAICS, I've not configured SA to use blacklists in any case. Also, only some messages were being blocked, and (AIUI) the osirusoft list is not blacklisting *.*.*.* so I should be rejecting everything (if it's my system). I have that file here. Does this mean I'm not using the osiru blacklist? In which case, why did I get the original complaint from the SuSE ezmlm? AFAIK it is not used default you need to include them. For why you received it better ask "ml admin" as he is controlling the list not we "the users" -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx

Without seeing the original complaint, I don't think we can debug it. Basically, somewhere between SuSE's ezmlm and your mail client, something is bouncing the message. It could be that your SA settings are set to bounce mails under specific situations - maybe it is bouncing because some mails have particular types of attachments? I get the odd message every now and then, because ST's mailserver is bouncing messages because of the content (although it helpfully doesn't say why it doesn't like the content...). Where you sent the bounce message? That should contain full headers and tell you where the block is. -- del suse-linux-e
