[opensuse] Community repositories URL in 10.3
Hi all, I "upgraded" from Factory to 10.3 and I wanted to try out the new Community Repositories in yast. But it gives me: No product URL defined to download list of repositories from. Where do I enter the URL and what would it look like? Thanks Chris -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
My guess is that the location of the repository has changed. Check
that the location of the repository in the YaST install sources
matches the published location.

Thats what I have there http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/ http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/non-oss/ Chris -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Try adding /suse to the end of your urls, so:
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/suse
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/non-oss/suse
See if that helps.

In Yast, try the 'Community Repositories' tool to automatically add the main repositories, Packman, VLC, and various Build System repositories. Probably best to remove all other repositories first to save duplication. On a package availability basis, that has not happened yet. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I did not counterclaim anything. Just said that the packages have not arrived yet. (And users, as usual, can't await to grab packs.) $ ls -glo /F/linux/misc/packman/suse/10.3/i586/smart* -rw-r--r-- 1 24399 Sep 7 17:40 smartdimmer-0.1-0.pm.2.i586.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 12861 Sep 7 17:40 smartdimmer-debuginfo-0.1-0.pm.2.i586.rpm -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
