Same here. I installed 10.3 in a vmware to test it out and Picasa will not run, having installed from RPM.

From the CLI, I get no error messages.

I have got it to work with > ulimit -v unlimited and start ./picasa from a konsoll in the bin folder i the Picasa folder in my "Home".

I did the ulimit (which seems to do somethign with memory) and then started picasa from the cli. I got the license agreement - which I didn't before - and then nothing. I didn't originally have a .picasa folder in my home folder. I do now. I went to /opt/picasa/bin to launch it. Still nothing. Maybe like Marcus said, there will be a new version. I'll post a note on the Google groups for Picasa.
