Re: [S.u.S.E. Linux] Problems with Wabi 2.2
You're stuck with 8 bit color. You should check out Michaels web site at <A HREF="http://eunuchs.org/"><A HREF="http://eunuchs.org/</A">http://eunuchs.org/</A</A>> , he has some good info on wabi.

Hy Dana Thanks for your reply. But Michael has the same problem with the color depth. He writes that it is necessary to switch the /etc/Xaccell.ini file for the actual needs. It seems to be that wabi can't handle depths above 8 bit. There is a section in the manual which describes how to run wabi under 24 bit. But this description means that the display must support PseudoColor in this mode. I found out that for 16 bit only TrueColor as "Visual Class" is supported. If I'm wrong please correct me. It seems to be that this is the reason for the failure. Anyhow, thanks for your fast help. Michaels site (to the others: try it) <A HREF="http://eunuchs.org/sitemap.html"><A HREF="http://eunuchs.org/sitemap.html</A">http://eunuchs.org/sitemap.html</A</A>> contains very useful information (not only about Linux). So thank you for your tip. -- Regards Marius Augenstein -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
