Thanks for your reply. But Michael has the same problem with the color
depth. He writes that it is necessary to switch the /etc/Xaccell.ini
file for the actual needs. It seems to be that wabi can't handle depths
above 8 bit. There is a section in the manual which describes how to
run wabi under 24 bit. But this description means that the display must
support PseudoColor in this mode. I found out that for 16 bit only=20
TrueColor as "Visual Class" is supported. If I'm wrong please correct
me. It seems to be that this is the reason for the failure.
