Thanks for the links! I'll be checking this out tonight.

I'm not sure if I've asked this here before, but I'm going to ask again. Does Linux, and more specifically SuSE, support shotgunning modems? What I mean is, if I've got two or more modems installed on a machine, and an equal number of phone lines to connect them to, can I set up SuSE to use all of the modems bandwidth as one larger pipe?
Sure this is called MultiPPP, under /usr/src/linux/Documents/README.eql also check out (I think, not at my machine right now, but I know it is under the source tree) http://www.linuxdoc.org/LDP/LG/issue36/tag/1.html http://www.linuxdoc.org/LDP/LG/issue39/tag/10.html The other end of your connection (Your ISP) has to support MPPP in their modem racks (Livingston Portmaster 2e supports it and I think USR Total Control supports it, not sure about any others). Also most ISP will try and get your to signup for a second account (Make sure you read your service agreement), "hogging" more than one modem per user name at a time is looked down on by many ISPs.
Can this be done,
This can be done, even though I have never did it personally.
or am I crazy?
I can not prove or disprove your sanity. Jack
