[opensuse] oss 11.3 kernel update crashes initrd and bootloader
hi, everytime i install a kernel update (yast | online update) my system doesn't boot anymore. i found out that the initrd-disk is missing and the grub boot menu (menu.lst) is missing all of its entries. today once more i did a kernel update but i did not reboot - i will do in the evening. so i looked at /boot and the initrd is missing and the grub menu.lst is broken too. so i fixed both and hope the system will boot normaly. has anyone else experienced this strange behaviour? best, johannes

I had a similar problem and described it here: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=627102 Grtz, Erwin Lam -- Erwin Lam (erwinlam@dds.nl) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
