Hello, I recently downloaded from internet a live concert that would like to burn on DVD and play it on stand alone DVD player connected to my TV. Downloaded map containes following files: VIDEO_TS.BUP VIDEO_TS.IFO VIDEO_TS.VOB VTS_01.BUP VTS_01.IFO VTS_01.VOB VTS_01_0.VOB VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB VTS_01_3.VOB VTS_01_4.VOB VTS_01_5.VOB Question is in which order I should burn them to DVD, I tried from K3B option burn video DVD, but I failed twice. K3B does copy files to DVD with success but then it can not be played on stand alone DVD-player. Now I'm stuck ... does anyone has any suggestions? All files must be in the folder VIDEO_TS. If it doesn't work for you, then you should try to play it with mplayer before burn it. Some file could be corrupted. Does the burned DVD play on your computer ? Regards. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Yes it does play on PC even with xine and koffeine. It's DVD+R and my DVD-player connected to TV can play DVD+R. 1st time I chosed that option(all files in VIDEO_TS map) when I was burning video DVD with K3B. 2nd time I burn again all files in VIDEO_TS map and copy of all smal files in root directory together with AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, but then I get message on PLAYER : can not play this DVD ... DVD is dirty.??? ANY HELP is most welcome, Regards, Zoran On Tuesday 29 May 2007 22:35, Gabriel . Schreef:

Regards.
All your files should be in the VIDEO_TS folder, the AUDIO_TS folder is usually empty. stuff outside the VIDEO_TS folder is not "seen". Perhaps you can put these two folders in another folder, say testburn, make sure that that's all there is on testburn. then you can try to burn an iso out of testburn with k3b, first select the only make iso option, then test open your iso with mplayer, xine, kaffeine or whatever, and, if that works, click on the iso and take the burn iso with k3b option to a real disk. if that disk don't work, then your hardware has some incompatibilities. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

yes
I would say, that the problem is with the player than. Can you try another player? Also, I have seen some players to reject NTSC or PAL disks if they are set for the other standard. Otherwise, there should not be a problem, as you say you have created the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders, and have put the video files in VIDEO_TS. -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
