I have upgraded a SuSE 8.0 Pro to 8.2 Pro. Had some difficulties with the bootloader (had that on other installations as well - seems to be a few bugs in 8.2). This is an old Pentium MMX 266. When I try to get YOU to update the smbclient and Sendmail/uucp with security fixes from any FTP server, it ends up saying: "ERROR (Media:login failed) Couldn't cd to pub/suse/i386/update/8.2/rpm/i386 uucp-1.06.1-853" My Athlon XP1800+ updates fine, also from an update CD I created with wget copy of the FTP server. CD also fails on the old Pentium. The correct directory is pub/suse/i386/update/8.2/rpm/i586. How/where do I change this?? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
