[opensuse] 15.2 kernel update removed kernel-devel, -source and -syms (again)
All, The purge-kernels package is still removing and not updating more than it should. As in my prior e-mail, on the last kernel update for 15.2, the kernel-devel, kernel-source and kernel-syms packages were removed causing the dkms rebuild of virtualbox modules to fail. Another kernel update just took place with the same results. From the last thread it was clear this was a known issue with purge-kernels misbehaving. It's still not fixed. Do I need to file a bug or is a fix in the works? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thank you. Other than that, everything we flawlessly. We will wait until the next one and see how it goes. I've go the recovery down to about 4 minutes... -- David C. Hopefully vacuuming the keyboard will help with the key skips :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Latest kernel update on 15.2 did update kernel-source, kernel-devel and kernel-syms ... Yay! Purge-kernels didn't get them first. Now dkms failed to build the vboxsf module -- but all others built. That's progress. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
