To this I might mention that the heated lines of discussion seem to have, at least for the time being, already vented. That, and please remember, one person's garbage is another one's treasure. If we all just agreed all the time, things would get awfully boring, don't ya think? Personally, I view myself with suspicion if I agree too much! ;-) Besides -- when MS first introduced systemd as palladium, back in XP days, there was quite a bit of fuss in the user community. Google up palladium and see MS's initial plans for having a TPM secure your computer against tampering along with trusted boot (shepherded, of course, by a systemd-like 'M.C.P.')
