Also, I do not know how to produce in the CLI a list of all fonts available. Maybe a recursive list of /usr/share/fonts/, but that's only filenames:
Telcontar:~ # ls /usr/share/fonts/* | grep Bitstream Telcontar:~ #
But also
Telcontar:~ # grep Bitstream /usr/share/fonts/*/*dir Telcontar:~ #
So no, I do not know how to get a listing and check it.
xlsfonts
You may have to install it.
Ah! Thanks. Yes.
-bitstream-bitstream charter-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso10646-1 -bitstream-bitstream charter-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso10646-1 ... -bitstream-charter-bold-i-normal--10-100-75-75-p-62-iso8859-1
I then tried xlsfonts -l and the machine locked! Not even mouse movement! I was trying an ssh session from another machine, when it recovered.
DIR MIN MAX EXIST DFLT PROP ASC DESC NAME

--> 32 255 some 0 24 10 2 -bitstream-charter-bold-i-normal--10-100-75-75-p-62-iso8859-1
probably was not locked, > xlsfonts -l |wc -l 9387
just occupied :^/
Even the mouse? For a minute or two? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
