I'm about to buy my first digital camera. Are there any linux specific issues I need to consider when choosing a camera? For example do they all work with linux? I'm using SuSE 9.1 if that makes any difference.

You could use an external card reader, asi there is no problem for recognizing the reader. Some cameras are not automatically recognized by the system as a USB hard drive, espescially the expensive ones ( reflex cameras i.e. Canon 300D, ...). A 6-in-one Card Reader is not very expensive and it works without any mounting or configuring. laurent -- Linux is like an indian tent: no Windows, no Gates and an Apache inside
