Thanks for the link. I notice that while there are KDE3.2 RPM's for SuSE 8.2 and 9.0, there are none for 8.0. Do you know if RPM's will be released for this version of SuSE? I don';t know. I think Suse 8.0 (and 7,3 and earlier) are no longer supported.
If not, would it be safe to install the 8.2 RPM's on an 8.0 box?
No, I am quite sure that 8.0 has a different lic runtime, and different libC runtime, and so you will end up with a whole bunch of non-functional apps. If you really want 8.0 either: - use konstruct and build your own - wait around for someone else to do so, and kindly ask him (or her) for their rpms - upgrade Kind regards, -- Gerhard den Hollander Phone :+31-10.280.1515 ICT manager Direct:+31-10.280.1539 Fugro-Jason Fax :+31-10.280.1511 gdenhollander@Fugro-Jason.com POBox 1573 visit us at http://www.Fugro-Jason.com 3000 BN Rotterdam JASON.......#1 in Reservoir Characterization The Netherlands This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the addressee.
