Don't forget that the people who spend the extra cash to get a Kenwood (and there is a significant amount of cash at stake) are the same type of people who are the most likely to complain. The failure rate that I've seen does not indicate any higher risk of failure than any other manufacturer. If you release a product that is designed to be superior and advertise it as a superior product, the client that purchase your product is probably going to be superior pain. -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 x110 _\_V On Wed, 23 Feb 2000, Rocky McGaugh wrote:
not to mention Kenwoods world renown reliability and how good their service is.
(Remembering the fact of 1000's of Kenwood 40x40's that all sucked and how poorly they handled the bumm product. *I* would never purchase one of their products due to the way they screwed 1,000's of people early last year.)

It should be noted that 6 months ago, the Kenwood 52x ATAPI could outrun the fastest ATAPI and SCSI-II CD-ROMs on >the market, so it's not a slouch, either.
