This new network interface naming scheme is going to drive me up the wall :-)
With 13.1 M1 :
system A: "enp13s0" and "enp14s0"
system B: "enp3s1f0", "enp3s1f1", "enp6s2"
Yeah, That's expected, please read the udev documentation for details on how to disable or change if not wanted.

Hmm, I got a 404 on that one. Wasn't this discussed on opensuse-factory a little while ago? What was the outcome - that we make sure people can retain the ethX naming scheme if they so desire? Anyway, it's for 13.1 so probably not really on-topic here, but I thought those interface names were just hilarious. I wonder what vlans and ipip interface names will look like :-) -- Per Jessen, Zürich (11.7°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
