I'm just wondering that openSUSE doesn't notify me about new version available...
Unlike other distros, openSUSE doesn't rush to induce users to fix what ain't broke. Instead, it notifies when support of a release is ending, which means users choosing to upgrade will be upgrading to a version with potential to have had more maturing, aka more bugs found and fixed, and less surprises for the unwary, such as a new desktop version the functionality of betaware or even alphaware, and the mature desktop with full feature set it replaced no longer available. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
