yes, I believed you and I see that, but ...
why do I not have that option? and where would the settings be stored as it would be probably easier to alter the "stored" parameters than troubleshoot and/or correct the missing "Advanced" tab on all my Tw installs?
As per [0],
You need to be using evdev instead of libinput to have the advanced settings tab.
You can change the double click rate manually by changing DoubleClickInterval in the KDE section of ~/.config/kdeglobals
unfortunately, I have no mouse/click/double/time/delay line in kdeglobals
The other mouse settings are in ~/.config/kaccessrc and ~/.config/kcminputrc
and I have no ~/.config/kaccessrc and nothing mouse related in ~/.config/kcminputrc
Good luck!

but tks,
ok, added "DoubleClickInterval=400" to "KDE" section of kdeblobals and restarted plasmashell and it appears to have helped aleviate my clicking interval problem. will observe for a period before proclaiming success. tks much, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
