http://www.novell.com/products/linuxprofessional/downloads/ftp/int_mirror s. html and pick one.
I should have been more specific. It asks for the server and folder. I tried using:
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/9.3/suse/
It helps to have the correct directory:
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i389/9.3, just like it says in the list of mirrors.
I'm sorry, but the list says:
mirrors.kernel.org/suse/
That's it. And *389*??? Whereforth comes *that*?
Thanks for your efforts.
My apologies, the '9' is a typo --- use ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/9.3 I think none of this would have arisen if you had first read the URL concerning ftp installations of SuSE Linux, at http://www.novell.com/products/linuxprofessional/downloads/suse_linux/index.... which is clear that you should point to ../i386/9.3 (or ../i386/current which is a symbolic link to the same place), not to .../9.3/suse
