Does anybody know where the YAST2 Online Update patches are saved after download and installation?
JMN> /var/lib/Yast/patches/i386/update/$version/
How about when you download a RPM from another site and click the install button on the KDE Web Browser Konqueror. I recently went to arkeia and clicked on the download. At the top of the page there was a button that said something like install rpm. I clicked it and YOU started and it was installed (although it hung at the very end). I tried to find the .rpm file with locate, find, grep, etc, but wasn't able. I suppose it doesn't matter if the original .rpm is retained, but I just like to confirm this is normal behavior or if it is option-able somewhere that I overlooked. Thank you. -- __________________________ DJ mailto: linux_programmer@hotmail.com
