Echoing Marcus's email does not make it any clearer.
To you, maybe. But "normal update channel" says lots to me ;-)
My what a helpful guy you are. ;-) Precisely what is the "Normal update channel" that you would expect to find in a fresh install of OS 12.3? There are no KDE update libraries automatically installed. Therefor there is no "normal" One has to hunt down updates from a bewildering array or repositories. And since the rumored huge memory leaks in KDE are not specific to the core or the applications, there is no way to choose between http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/UpdatedApps/openSUSE_12.3/ or http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/410/openSUSE_12.3/ which are mentioned on the KDE repository web page on OpenSuse. All I want is stability of KDE4 for the long haul, with no memory leaks. But I don't want bleeding edge stuff, because its for my main workstation on which I depend. So, Carl, if you have a definition of "Normal" I'd like to hear it. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
