one question: is it really impossible to make Firefox under Linux (SuSE 10.0) a little less SLO-O-OW? Its awful how this just-what-i-need browser locks up when opening page with flash animation, opening page with who-knows-what-else, how long it takes to start and lots of other things. Why? Why is the very same browser works fast (and i mean really fast) under Windows on my desktop? I like Linux, and i dislike Windows. Seems to me that after i started Opera once (just to compare) i start to dislike Firefox too. Firefox 1.5 is great browser. And i don't know how to make Opera (8.52) have the same functionality. So i whant to use Firefox, but i just can't... wait all that time it "works".
Does anyone has any comments or suggestions on how to make Firefox work fast or how to make Opera function like Firefox with FlashGot, RIP, Adblock, ForecastFox.
Hmmm, I find this strange. In both SuSE 10 and Win 2000 I can start Opera first then start Firefox...guess which actually loads first? Firefox everytime. Perhaps it's the way I have my PCs set up? -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Xmas may be over but, PLEASE DON'T drink and drive you'll make it to the next one that way.

Same for me. Firefox loads flash sites with no delays.
