It compalins about the sequencer kernel module. Try to disable the sequencer (either through alsaconf or yast)
or manually edit modprobe.d and remove the seq_ports=4 line (though Im not sure if that will do the trick)
[I'm cc'ing this back to the list] I tried both yast (deselecting "Start Sequencer") and setting seq_ports=0, but the status is the same, no sound.
