This isn't on a filesystem with a small blocksize, is it?
Nope, this was a fresh install on one of the space-wasting 4k new-fangled 7200 rpm platters :-)
Uhh....Space Wasting? Linux went to a 4KB page for almost all filesystems over a decade ago. So the decision to waste space was made long ago. As far as I know, all 4K drives are 1TB or larger. Have you ever created a 1TB filesystem with 1KB pages? Can it even be done? Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
