Guys, Just a note. In the past month or two, bash completion seems to get confused at times. (the tab-completion) I'll type part of a path in and hit tab and nothing, tab-tab-tab still nothing. Check spelling -> OK, backspace over one level in the path, tab-tab still nothing. Back up to the first level of the path and tab -- works, first couple of letters of same 2nd dir -- works, and continues working down the tree. I can't remember ever having consistent (not my fat fingers) problems with bash completion before. It's strange to have to backspace over what you just typed to get back to the first 2-4 letters before bash completion starts working again. I get no errors anywhere. So this is a general "anybody else seeing this??" -- post -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
