Hello Linux folkz, Can somebody share an idea how to access MS SQL7 database from Linux box? I'm in need to do this because company management initially made a wrong choice about database software >8( To access M$ SQL from NT box there is a query analyzer client application and M$ access. Does somebody know if there anything similar for Linux? I tried to do it from command prompt but M$ SQL didn't let me in. So, I'm looking now for Linux program/application which can deal with this awful database. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. By the way, could somebody please advise what is better to use for huge amounts of manufacturing process data - MySQL or PostgreSQL? Many thanks in advance.
