What does "postconf mydestination" say?
Do you get warnings in your logfile? egrep 'fatal|panic|error|warning' /var/log/mail
This is what postconf shows:
porsche:~ # postconf -n mydestination
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain
porsche:~ # postconf -n myhostname
myhostname = mail.pure-energy.net
The egrep of /var/log/mail only shows the bounces because the local
delivery failed error:
