(Logitech trackball Marble+)
This one is a trackball. I connected at the same time a second mouse, cheapo, and it works fine.
Hardware broke down. I connected to laptop, and same symptoms :-/
Got it partially working, it is fluff in the wheel. Usually these things give "warnings", not fail suddenly.
Failed again, this time with "warning". It would move down the window, but not up. https://photos.app.goo.gl/7v44kwGA9Rj4t8QK9 This time I found a new place where the fluff was hiding, not visible initially. I could not find fluff elsewhere. Each time I try this, I find a new place. The little wheel can be pulled up, and the wheel disassembled almost entirely and cleaned completely. The problem is placing them, and two springs, back in the correct place. Amazing the amount of fluff I found there. To clean under the optical sensors, I used a bit of paper cut from a Postit note. I now think I should have used the sticky part. And all the time, the trackball had to be connected to see if it worked. Saved a hundred euros or so, I'm happy :-) -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
