That's only true if: - you're not using PulseAudio (ie you've removed Pulse from your install and are only using alsa) or - you've already installed alsa-plugins-pulse-32bit and libpulse0-32bit before installing Skype.
If you do not manually install alsa-plugins-pulse-32bit and libpulse0-32bit, Skype will start up normally, but you will not be able to configure sound devices.
Np C, i am on a fresh 122 64 install, 1days old, so there was nothing just the default system... I added two .txt files, listing all added skype32 dep-files for a bald install.
Just thnx 4 the missing 2 ;-)
Geen probleem. :-) Skype got most.. but not all deps for the latest release. Those last two still need to be added manually or things are very quiet on your headset/speakers. I see that this is also documented here: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Skype Mvg C. -- openSUSE 12.2 x86_64, KDE 4.9.2 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
