you will need the new ndiswrapper from "http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/" however, it is brand new, and though some people have gotten it to work, it still fails for me. the 64 bit windows drivers can be downloaded at "http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=186" I get a kernel oops message when I try. Hopefully your experience will be better. On Wednesday 19 January 2005 17:18, Brock Inglehart wrote:
Installed Suse 9.2 pro on Compaq R3240US laptop with AMD 64 bit chip. Unit is dual booted with Windows on other side of partition. Wireless works on Windows side but totally inoperative in Linux. Was the same with Suse 9.1 version. Can't configure with Yast. Does anyone know if I need a special driver? I'm still the same user level guy and have no clue as to how to fix. Any help appreciated.
