Are your drawers too tight today?
Thread hijacking is strongly frowned upon here, there being relatively few users of Outlook (/Express) and its brain-dead approach to email standards. We like our hierarchical topic threads. This may be one of the few outposts of well-run email forums, but we'd really not like to let it devolve to the state exhibited by so many other lists. You can expect to be chastised (and not just by me) whenever you hijack a thread on a SuSE list.

I'm confused. Did you try to "upgrade" a FC6 to some version of SuSE Linux / openSUSE? I'd expect that to yield a mess far beyond video driver mismatch.
I thought that I was quite specific in describing the problem.
Yet you were not.
I have one computer on my LAN that is running Fedora Core 6 and I preformed an update with Smart Package Manager. After that, open GL apps don't work any more. Is that clear? If it had been an opensuse problem, I would not have said "Maybe OT" in the subject line.
Why are you asking on a SuSE-related list about problems with Fedora Core? Surely the Fedora Core folks have their own forums?
...
Obviously I was sadly mistaken. My apologies to the group for my assumption.
You're forgiven. This time. But your post was definitely too far off-topic for this list. We have a list where nothing is off-topic: OpenSUSE-OffTopic@OpenSUSE.org. You can post anything you like there. Anything not grossly offensive, anyway.
