Can you describe in more detail the problem you're experiencing? Error messages etc.
<AW> Installer just informed that no DVD Drive, as it has no (built in) driver for SATA in the 11.2 DVD media. If I tried to use USB DVD Drive, installer stopped when accessing HDD with exactly same situation (no built in driver). I am sure if I have driver for SATA and put it into the installation progress, problem will solved.
Hi Wong I don't think I've ever seen that. Sometime I have seen messages about "unable to access/partition /dev/sdX" (when starting the partitioner), but those are usually not related to a missing driver. Wrt adding a driver during the installation process, we used to have support for that, but I've not had reason to do that for years. At which point during installation do you get this message, and what is the exact message? Hi Per, <AW> I cannot continue the installation at all as Installer could not access DVD Drive after booting. I will capture the screen shot and email to you. <AW> BTW, the chipset is Intel H61. Do you have any idea of this chipset for version 11.2? Thanks & Regards, Wong -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
